Description
Alyogynes are fast growing native shrubs closely related to Hibiscus. They occur naturally only in Australia. Aussie Purple TM produces a brilliant display of bright purple flowers in spring to summer, making it a colourful addition to native or cottage style gardens. The attractive foliage of this plant is a feature throughout the year. Aussie Purple TM is a cross between Alyogyne huegelii and A. hakeifolia making it more durable than many straight species Alyogynes, particularly tolerating more humid areas.
